The lodge is a five-minute walk from Fort Ross State Historic Park, and less than two miles from Fort Ross itself. Pack up some snacks, and then head to the park to explore.

Located in Sea Ranch, this two-bedroom, two-bath vacation rental is, as its name implies, truly a “House of Peace.” Located in a cul-de-sac with ocean views, the house is a five-minute walk from the beach, and is surrounded by common land, making for a private, secluded feeling and unobstructed views. Wander along the nearby hiking trails or borrow the tandem bicycle for a leisurely ride through the town.

Insider Tip

There is a large wrap-around deck with a built-in hot tub and ocean views, so be sure to pack a swimsuit. Migratory whales have been spotted from this vantage point.
