Jesus Trejo is a stand-up comedian from Long Beach, CA, known for his comedy special Stay at Home Son on Showtime. His second special, Practicing?, is available for free on his YouTube channel.
In addition to his stand-up, Trejo has appeared in Netflix’s Mr. Iglesias as Mr. Trujillo and in Hulu’s This Fool as Efrain, where he also served as a writer for the second season. His children’s book, Papá’s Magical Water Jug-Clock, has won two Pura Belpré Honors for Author and Illustrator and is available in both Spanish and English. A new book is expected in Fall 2024.
When he’s not performing, Trejo hosts and produces the web series Tacos con Todo, exploring LA’s taco culture with celebrity guests. In 2024, he will serve as Executive Producer and Host for the PBS/KCET Docu-Series ROOTS OF COMEDY.
