Downtown Santa Rosa is bringing holiday cheer with Winter Lights Skating on the Square, running from November 30 to December 31. Guests can enjoy skating on eco-friendly synthetic ice every Thursday through Sunday, with rentals available for all sizes. The rink offers fun for all ages, including skate helpers for little ones and shoe covers for parents accompanying their children. Private rink buyouts are also available for special events.
Skating hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 4 PM to 8 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 PM to 8 PM, with special hours on December 24 and 31. The rink will host themed skate nights every Thursday, including Nightmare Before Christmas (12/5), A Groovy Holiday/70s Disco (12/12), Ugly Sweater Night (12/19), and Pajama Party (12/26). The Festival of Lessons and Carols is a cherished holiday tradition that began in 1918 at King’s College, Cambridge, and has since spread around the world.
