Sonoma County Art Trails is a juried open studio event celebrating local artists. Held over two weekends in October, it offers a unique opportunity to visit artists’ studios, see their creative process, and purchase original works. The Art Trails Preview Show provides a first look at participating artists’ work, helping visitors plan their studio tours.

This free event welcomes art lovers to explore a diverse range of styles and mediums while connecting with the talented artists of Sonoma County. Applications for artists open soon.

Join the SOFA District artists for First Friday Open Studios, held on the first Friday of every month from 5 to 8pm. Experience a vibrant evening with gallery openings, live music, and the opportunity to meet the artists in Santa Rosa’s historic Railroad Square. It’s a wonderful chance to explore new works, enjoy a lively atmosphere, and connect with the creative community. Best of all, First Friday is free to the public!

The 2025 dates are 4/4, 5/2, 6/6, 7/4, 8/1, 9/5, 10/3, 11/7, and 12/5. Don’t miss out on this monthly celebration of art and culture!

The 50th Annual Handmade Holiday Crafts Fair at Finley Community Complex is a festive shopping experience featuring over 90 local artists. Explore handcrafted holiday décor, jewelry, home goods, bath and body products, gourmet treats, and more. The fair also includes live entertainment, a prize giveaway fundraiser, and food options from local restaurants.

Enjoy a free ride on Rosie the Trolley, which offers transportation between the fair and the Luther Burbank Home and Gardens Holiday Open House. Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks Scholarship Fund. Please note that only service animals are allowed at the event. Remember to keep your ticket for re-entry throughout the weekend. Parking is available at the Finley Community Center, with additional spaces nearby.
