San Francisco-based band Wreckless Strangers will bring their high-energy “Bay Area Gumbo” sound to the Rio Nido Roadhouse. Recently, the band played an artist spotlight at the NAMM music trade show, released their EP Blue Sky Fantasy, and were named to Music Connection Magazine’s Hot 100 for 2024.
With influences ranging from Bonnie Raitt and Fleetwood Mac to Sly Stone and the Grateful Dead, Wreckless Strangers offer a unique blend of blues, Americana, funk, and rock. Known for soaring harmonies and fiery instrumentals, the band honors the Bay Area’s free-spirited musical tradition. The band features Amber Morris (vocals), David Noble (vocals, guitar), Joshua Zucker (bass, vocals), Mick Hellman (drums, vocals), and Rob Anderson (guitar, vocals), with special guest Eamonn Flynn (keys). Their latest EP, produced by Grammy-winner Dave Way, showcases their dynamic sound.
