Known for her bold, complex roles and fearless physical transformations, Davis redefined the screen heroine with her intense performances. The series spans four decades, starting with The Cabin in the Cotton (1932) and culminating with Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962). Other films include The Letter (1940), In This Our Life (1942), and All About Eve (1950).
