Join Paul Vossen, a renowned Farm Advisor and Emeritus Extension Agent, for an engaging workshop on fruit tree care at Gold Ridge Organic Farms. With over 35 years of research and teaching experience, Paul is passionate about helping gardeners and hobby growers improve their fruit trees. This 3-hour session will cover essential topics such as variety and rootstock selection, mound planting, irrigation timing, organic fertilization, and pruning techniques. Paul will share his extensive knowledge on caring for nectarines, apricots, apples, pears, citrus, figs, olives, and more. Weather permitting, attendees will also experience a live pruning demonstration in the orchards.

The workshop will take place in the farm’s milling area, so participants should dress in comfortable layers and wear closed-toed, non-slip footwear suitable for walking on uneven terrain. Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be provided. Don’t miss this chance to learn from a local legend with decades of expertise. Registration is required. Visit Gold Ridge Organic Farms for details.
