Join artist Robert Mahar for an engaging workshop on suminagashi, the traditional Japanese marbling technique that creates soft, intricate patterns of color on paper and fabric. Perfect for beginners, participants will explore how to work with floating inks and manipulate them on water to craft stunning designs. Robert will guide attendees in transferring their marbled patterns onto paper and silk handkerchiefs, while also offering ideas for incorporating these materials into future creative projects.

All supplies are included, and each participant will leave with their own marbling kit, which includes inks, brushes, a water pan, paper, and silk handkerchiefs. Please dress in attire suitable for working with water and inks.
