This program, Sonoma Bach’s first entirely dedicated to Schütz, will showcase a selection of his sacred works, including pieces from Cantiones Sacrae, Geistliche Chormusik, and Psalms of David. Additionally, listeners will experience Schütz’s First Book of Madrigals, illustrating his mastery of early 17th-century part-songs.
