Step into Petaluma’s Wonderland—Where Imagination Blooms—at the 42nd Annual Butter & Egg Days Parade and Festival! Taking place in historic Downtown Petaluma, this beloved tradition features colorful floats, costumed performers, and creative displays that celebrate the city’s charm, history, and agricultural roots.

Festivities begin Saturday, April 12 with the Opening Ceremonies at the Petaluma Historical Library & Museum. Then, on April 19, the main parade steps off at noon, with the Clover Kids’ Parade kicking things off at 11:30 a.m.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., enjoy a lively street festival featuring food vendors, live music, crafts, kids’ zones, and beverage gardens (note: cashless for drinks/info booth). The fun continues the following weekend with the Annual Antique Faire on April 27.

Pets are best left at home due to crowds. Come celebrate Petaluma’s creativity and community spirit—Happy Butter & Egg Days!
