Patz & Hall was founded in 1988 with one purpose: to craft Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the very best small, family-owned vineyards in California.

For over 30 years, Patz & Hall has establishing long-term relationships with the talented winegrowers who farm these world-class sites. Built on real friendships, and a shared commitment to quality, these partnerships—with people like Larry Hyde, Lee Hudson and the Martinelli and Pisoni families—have led to the rich diversity of our wine portfolio. We make our wines in a state-of-the-art winery in Sonoma designed by Winemaker James Hall. This purpose-built winery allows the Patz & Hall team complete control during every step of the winemaking process.
