Welcome
Sonoma Zipline Adventures is nestled near the coast of Northern California approximately 30 minutes west of Santa Rosa. This guided eco-adventure includes multiple zip lines, sky bridges, and rappels as well as other unique elements.
Sonoma Zipline Adventures offers two unique courses – the Classic Course and the Challenger Course – rain or shine the entire year. Additionally, Night Flights are offered on the Classic Course.
Upon arrival, each guest is welcomed by a member of the staff in our Welcome Center, driven up the mountain to our home base. There guest are fitted with safety equipment and given a short training orientation and ground school. Upon successful completion of ground school the guests are driven to starting platform when the canopy tour begins. Throughout the tour, guests will be immersed in the unparalleled beauty of the world famous California Coastal Redwoods.
Each course begins with panoramic forest views and quickly enters the canopy of the Redwoods to reveal deep ravines, and high above the forest floor. The trained guides share interesting facts and history of the forest while encouraging each guest along the way.
The Classic Course was completed in July, 2010 and has seven zip lines, two sky bridges, a majestic spiral staircase, and a rappel back to the forest floor. The longest zip line is approximately 800 feet. For the night flights, each guest is outfitted with special equipment to enjoy the experience.
The Challenger Course was completed in September, 2015 and has been appropriately named because it is very “challenging.” The Challenger Course include three zip lines, four sky bridges, and an exciting option to return to the forest floor – a free-fall rappel! The longest zip line on The Challenger Course is approximately 1,500 feet.
