Hotel Healdsburg is once again delighting guests and visitors with their traditional afternoon tea this holiday season. Starting with Thanksgiving weekend on November 29th and through December 22nd,
Hotel Healdsburg
, in collaboration with Charlie Palmer’s Dry Creek Kitchen, will offer a holiday tea each Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Afternoon tea will feature a variety of common high tea fare such as scones with cream, tea sandwiches, and desserts.
Expect a twist on tradition as farm fresh and local ingredients of
Sonoma Wine Country
are used to execute tea delicacies with flair. Highlights of the menu include: Smoked Salmon on Housemade Brioche, Vegetable Tarts, ‘A Good Egg’ Heritage Egg Salad Sandwich, as well as three different types of specialty scones, housemade jams, macarons, petits fours, and more. In addition to specialty teas brewed to order, in the spirit of wine country and the holidays, guests can also select from a list of tea cocktails and holiday wines. The Chocolate Cherry Manhattan and the 2013
Quivira Sauvignon Blanc
sound like excellent compliments to one’s relaxing afternoon tea time. Not to leave the children out, Hotel Healdsburg pays particular attention to the kids-friendly menu that features an individual child’s plate, hot chocolate with marshmallows and apple cider. As an added special treat, girls will get hand fans and white gloves, and boys will receive fake mustaches and little top hats.
Tea time is a special experience and whether it’s your first time or you’ve become a seasonal regular, Hotel Healdsburg’s Afternoon Holiday Teas are not to be missed. So why not plan a day in the
town of Healdsburg
, walk around, taste wine, shop, and then relax with a cup of tea!
